Each month in 2021, Better Car People spotlights one dealership and a local charity of their choice through our new Gratitude Campaign. Better Car People donates $1,000 to the charity in the name of the dealership in the hopes of helping the local community and spreading the word about the specific charity.

In October, Better Car People was delighted to highlight Mitchell Buick GMC and their charity partner Concho Valley Home for Girls.

What is Concho Valley Home for Girls?

Finding foster placement for older girls can be difficult, and there is a definitive need to assist them in overcoming their prior obstacles and preparing them for a bright future. That is where Concho Valley Home for Girls comes into play. Since 1973, they have been providing a safe, nurturing, “family” environment for girls from troubled homes. The majority of the girls are 14 and over, and are provided a home-like atmosphere that includes a focus on education, emotional, and physical health, and support.

• Diversified Educational Resources
• Family Counseling Services
• Transitional Services for Children Leaving Care
